Welcome to The Wenlock Witch — I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’ve already visited in person or are discovering us for the first time, you are warmly welcome exactly as you are.
This little shop on Barrow Street is my passion project, my community space and, honestly — my joy. It is not polished or corporate; it is handmade, candlelit, a little wild around the edges, and full of things I genuinely believe in.

The Story
The Wenlock Witch grew from a simple belief: that exploring spirituality, wellbeing and creativity should feel joyful, not intimidating. I wanted to create a space where a complete beginner and a seasoned practitioner would both feel entirely at home.
Much Wenlock is a special place: medieval, beautiful, polished, and full of old stories. The Wenlock Witch sits within that history as something a little more untamed: a teal-doored invitation to follow your own curiosity.
Every item in the shop has been personally chosen by me. I don’t stock anything I wouldn’t be happy to take home myself. When you pick something up here, you can trust that it’s been selected with genuine care.
Old Wenlock Stories
Long before The Wenlock Witch opened its teal door on Barrow Street, Much Wenlock already had its own witch story. Ann “Nanny” Morgan, born in 1796, is remembered in local accounts as a complicated woman who lived on the edges of polite society.
Stories connect her with market life, travellers, fortune telling and the old ways, though much of what survives is folklore, fear and fragments. For Kerrie, Nanny Morgan’s story feels less like a costume and more like a thread waiting to be picked up with care.
This section is a respectful tribute, inspired by local history writing on Nanny Morgan rather than a claim to tell the whole story.

No Experience Needed
The number one thing visitors tell me is that they never felt judged, even with no idea what they were looking at. That means everything to me.
If you’re completely new to crystals or spirituality — wonderful. There are no silly questions here. Come in, look around and ask me anything. I genuinely love helping people find their first stone.
This isn’t a shop where you’ll feel followed or pushed toward a purchase. Browse at your own pace. Sit on the sofa. Come back several times before you buy anything. That’s entirely fine.
I’ve spent years building real knowledge around crystals, holistic wellbeing, seasonal practice and spiritual development. Everything I share comes from genuine experience.

For workshops and special events, places are limited and booking is recommended. All events are announced on our Facebook page first. For browsing the shop, no booking is needed — just come in during opening hours.
Yes. There is public parking available in Much Wenlock town centre, including the main car park off the High Street, which is a short walk from the shop on Barrow Street.
We don’t currently offer online shopping — and that’s intentional. Kerrie believes the best way to find the right crystal or gift is to come in, have a conversation and let intuition guide you.
Before You Come
Much Wenlock is a beautiful Shropshire market town approximately 12 miles south-east of Shrewsbury. It’s well worth combining a visit to The Wenlock Witch with a wander through the town’s historic streets or a visit to Wenlock Priory.
We’re on Barrow Street, just off the main High Street. Look for the hand-carved wooden sign with the crescent moon above the teal door — you’ll smell us before you see us.
